How to Have a Happy and Safe Halloween in the Golden Triangle
This Halloween, it’s necessary to take some extra precautions in Denver before celebrating the holiday. But that doesn’t mean there still aren’t plenty of ways to have fun. Here are four ways to celebrate Halloween in the Golden Triangle this year.
1. Visit the Great Pumpkin Adventure at the Golden Triangle Mall
While Mall-O-Ween has been canceled this year, every child who visits the Great Pumpkin Adventure will get a piece of candy. That makes this the perfect stop while out getting Halloween costume essentials or getting started early on your holiday shopping.
While different than traditional trick-or-treating, this early celebration of Halloween featured plenty of tricks and treats as participants visited the three haunted hosts on the route.
3. Visit the Gardens or the Zoo
Both Denver’s Botanical Gardens and Zoo feature Halloween activities this year. The Botanic Gardens’ Glow at the Gardens features a stupendous collections of gourds carved by local artists. You can see these glowing creations through October 24. Through October 31 the Denver Zoo is offering a very spooky Storybook Safari, called Boo at the Zoo. The Zoo and Botanic Gardens are just a couple of the many attractions that make living in a Denver apartment so desirable.
4. Make a Cozy Halloween at Home
With a few decorations of your own, some well-placed candles, and of course some candy, Halloween at home is one of the safest way to enjoy the holiday. Pick your favorite spooky movie, the level of scares completely up to you, and enjoy the holiday with all the treats you want while skipping the tricks. Or play a game like bobbing for apples or eating cider donuts without hands.
There’s no place to make a Halloween at home in the Golden Triangle quite like the beautiful Denver apartments offered at Trivista. The location could not be more convenient to all Denver has to offer, while the amenities, such as a two-story fitness center and roof with panoramic vistas, may mean you hardly ever want to leave.
